Matt Molyneux

Bowel cancer is treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early. Despite being the UK's 4th most common cancer, awareness of bowel cancer symptoms is alarmingly low. Consequently, bowel cancer is the 2nd most common cause of cancer death in the UK. I am raising money for Bowel & Cancer Research to improve awareness and to support the research projects that they fund in creating a future free from bowel cancer or chronic bowel disease.

I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 24th of March 2019. I will be representing Bowel & Cancer Research, a brilliant, scientifically-rooted charity that have their sights set on a day when no one will die of bowel cancer or have to live with chronic bowel disease. To bring this day closer, Bowel & Cancer Research invest in the best science across the UK. A leading authority in research across all bowel disease, their researchers seek to improve diagnosis and treatment as well as better understand vital biological processes so that they can use them to find new therapies.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can (hopefully!) reach my target and together we can help Bowel & Cancer Research do more. Thank you!
