Back in August i started to do some running on top of my fitness classes I was doing at the time. After a conversation with my P.T about running,we got onto the subject of Marathon’s and would I ever consider entering one. Then back in September my Dad who had been unwell for some time was diagnosed with Terminal Bowel Cancer. This in turn forced the issue, so I set about looking for a Marathon to run in honour of my Dad.

After some research, it turned out that I could run the Brighton marathon through a charity and could do this for bowel cancer research. This was great news for me, so I signed up straight away and basically started training for the long journey ahead. I’ve had tremendous support already from family, friends and the team, so any donations to this amazing cause would be much appreciated.

On Sunday 15th April 2018, I will taking on this challenge. Come down to watch the event or even for a day at the beach!
