I arrived at a time of great change for the charity, helping with the transition of our new branding, developing the new website and working on our campaign I’ve Got Guts.

I have worked within the charity sector for 3 years after gaining experience in a variety of industries including TV production, education and logistics, however I found that working in the Third Sector had the best job satisfaction.

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 with a BA in Drama & Screen and, while I may not use my degree daily in the office, the odd theatrical quip is welcomed by the team (I think).

I'm passionate about helping our supporters reach their fundraising targets and I'm constantly blown away by the different challenges they set themselves. I feel that we support essential research and hearing the stories from our supporters about their struggles with bowel conditions I see great importance in creating awareness for conditions that rarely get spoken about.

So inspired was I by our wonderful fundraisers, that I decided to take on my own challenge and I'll be running in my 1st marathon in support of Bowel & Cancer Research in early 2018.
