We need your help

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income through fundraising events. The Virgin Money London Marathon alone, which should have taken place on Sunday 26 April, is the world’s biggest one-day fundraising event, which raised more than £66.4 million for thousands of charities in 2019.

Charities need our support now more than ever. So, if you can make a donation (big or small) to Bowel & Cancer Research, it would mean the world to us. You could even go one step further by creating a JustGiving page, collecting donations from family and friends too.

The #TwoPointSixChallenge fundraising campaign

From Sunday 26 April, the day when the Virgin Money London Marathon would have taken place, join the rest of the UK for The 2.6 Challenge.

The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends.

Here are some fun ideas:

  • 26 laps around your block
  • a 2.6 mile run
  • 26 minutes of yoga
  • 26 backflips
  • holding the plank for 2.6 minutes
  • 26 press ups with your dog on your back
  • run up and down the stairs 26 times

Whatever your age or ability, you can take part. After all, we’re not looking for superheroes. We’re looking for Home Heroes.
