Support us Fundraise All events Superhero in the City Superhero in the City Superhero in the City is London's iconic 5km Superhero Run, launching for the first time on Thursday June 13th 2019 at 6.55pm. This is the only running event where you'll run past some of the most iconic locations in London or the world, dressed as a superhero of your choice! You will get your very own Superhero cape and mask, individual running number and medal. Release your inner superhero Entry cost: £24 Fundraising target: Bowel & Cancer Research do not set a fundraising target for this event. Runners must be over 8yrs old to enter. All runners between 8yrs - 16yrs are free, and receive a superhero mask only. They must be accompanied by an adult. The Route Starting on the north side of the Millennium Bridge, you will begin by running over the Thames and enjoying the world famous view of Tower Bridge. The route then takes you along the historic south embankment, past Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and some of London's oldest pubs, and the Borough Market area. You’ll cross over Southwark Bridge and hug the north embankment running towards the Tower of London and then return through the City, back towards St Paul's Cathedral, via Millennium Bridge making this a truly iconic route!
