We are very sorry that circumstances have led to the London Landmarks Half Marathon being unable to take place on 29th March 2020 and want to reassure you that the race organisers are working with the local authorities to secure a new date. Please know we’re doing our best and will be in touch as soon as we can to let you know the outcome. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

Local Landmarks Challenge - a solo, virtual run around your local landmarks!

Your local landmarks could be anything from your local church, castle, park, statue or even post-box. Take on the LLHM event strap-line, 'The Grand. The Quirky. The Hidden', get creative and plot a run around your local landmarks and continue your support of Bowel & Cancer Research.

The challenge is open to everyone, whether you have a place in LLHM 2020 or not, and distances over 5k qualify for the challenge.

You can complete your total distance over a number of runs and multiple days – you do not need to complete it in one go.

This is a solo, virtual challenge. Please do not organise to do this in groups.

The Current government advice is that it's safe to go outside to run once a day alone or with a member of your household as long as you keep a safe distance from other people (at least a 2 meter distance). Please read the Government's guidance which can be found here and adhere to it at all times.

You can take part in the Local Landmarks Challenge until 3rd May 2020 and we encourage you to continue to fundraise whilst taking part.

GOVERNMENT ADVICE ABOUT RUNNING AND COVID-19

This is a solo, virtual challenge. Please do not organise to do this in groups. The Current government advice is that it's safe to go outside to run once a day alone or with a member of your household as long as you keep a safe distance from other people (at least a 2 meter distance).   But you must also follow Government advice and minimise the amount of time you are outside – so please ensure that you complete the challenge as part of your daily exercise routine – it is essential that you do not exercise outside more than you would normally.  Please read the Government's guidance which can be found here and adhere to it at all times. If you would like to read the PM's latest advice, this can be found here. If the government advice changes, the Local Landmarks Challenge will be paused, and re-opened for the remaining duration once it is safe to do so.
