We’re excited to share with you the new nationwide fundraising campaign, the #TwoPointSixChallenge!

With many fundraising events being postponed, whilst we are still hopeful these events will go ahead at a later date, charities across the country have been left struggling to maintain their services, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The UK’s mass participation event industry has come together with Justgiving and Virgin Money Giving to create The 2.6 Challenge, a nationwide fundraising campaign launched in response to COVID-19 to Save the UK's Charities.

Be a Home Hero

From Sunday 26th April 2020 (the day the 40th edition of the London Marathon would have taken place), take on a challenge of your choice relating to the number 26 or 2.6. No need to be a marathon runner to take part – this is a challenge for all ages and abilities. You can be as creative as you like!

Here are some fun ideas:

  • 26 laps around your block
  • a 2.6 mile run
  • 26 minutes of yoga
  • 26 backflips
  • holding the plank for 2.6 minutes
  • 26 press ups with your dog on your back
  • run up and down the stairs 26 times

Think outside the box and choose a challenge to help Bowel & Cancer Research through this difficult period.
