The Big Bum-ble 2018.

This summer marked our first Big Bum-ble, a 5km in one of the loveliest parks in the UK and raise money for vital research into bowel cancer and bowel disease.

On the day we had the privilege of Louise Hazel Olmpian athlete and TV star (who also suffers from ulcerative colitis), lead our supporters through a warm up, ensuring everyone was raring to go!

We were also joined by our ambassador expert nutritionist Lily Soutter, and other friends of Bowel & Cancer Research who enjoyed a morning of fresh air, yummy goodies and gentle exercise. We were very grateful to Lily for doing a short synopsis of each of our goody bag items.

Food and lifestyle blogger Emma Hatcher (She Can't Eat What?!) devised an all new Big Bum-ble recipe, a summer frittata that is good for your gut and Bum-blers were given the different ingredients as they walked around the course to encourage them to go home and make this fabulous dish!

We were blown away by the response from our supporters.

Everyone who took part shared our goal of a future where no one dies of bowel cancer or has to live with chronic bowel disease and those that fundraised did a phenomenal job. The highest raised by one team was over £4,000! They have won exclusive tickets to the Dancing on Ice Tour with the opportunity to meet and greet the stars after.

All that's left to say is:

Let's get ready to Bum-ble 2019!
