By underground/overground
Whitechapel underground station is on the District, Hammersmith & City and Circle lines as well as the East London overground line. The journey planner on the London Transport site is very helpful.
Whitechapel underground station has only one exit which on leaving places you just opposite the old Royal London Hospital. Cross at the lights, turn right and walk past the old hospital. Turn left at the junction down New Road and then a left again onto Newark Street. The Abernethy building is located on the right hand side of the road.
By car
It is not advised to visit by car unless absolutely necessary as parking is very limited. Contact us if you are not able to travel any other way.
